I would like to try the software, how can I download it?

I have completed the download, but I don't find the file on my system. Do I have to download again?
If you downloaded the file correctly you can find it back using the Windows "Search" function. To do this, just click on the Windows "Start" button and choose "Search" ... "Files and Folders..."
Type "fpf11.exe" (this is the name of the file) and hit "Search now". If the file is on your system its location will show up in the list.

I have downloaded your program, but I cannot unzip it. What is the problem?
You don't need any zip program to install the software. Please follow the instructions on this page

Can I order a CD-rom with the software?
We stopped offering a CD-rom , because it is an unnecessary expense.
Moreover, a CD always goes out of date and becomes unusable when a new upgrade version is released.
If you want a backup CD, you can always burn the download version on a CD.

How can add my own stocks to the program? I see that a lot of indices and stocks are included in the software, but the stocks I am trading are not there.
At present there is not automatic function in the program to search the optimal parameters for any stock of your choice.
We hope to add such functionality in the next version.
In the meantime we can research any stock for you, provided you can give us about 20 years of historical closing data (or a link where we can find them).
We will determine the optimal 5 element parameters for you and then you can simly add it to the list in the program.

How can I order your program?
You can order the software online with creditcard, using the secure server of Plimus.
Click here to access the order page. Instructions will come on the screen.
All creditcards, checks, wire and Paypal are accepted.
You also have the option to send your order by fax or phone if you prefer not to send your creditcard data over the net.

I would like to purchase your program, but I don't use creditcards.
You can also choose to pay by check or wire transfer.

When a newer version comes out, do I have to pay again to upgrade my software?
Minor upgrades will always be free for all registered users.
Major new releases will be free or made available at a special low price for owners of the previous version.

I would like to try out the software before I decide to buy it. Is this possible?
Yes, you can download the software for a free 30 day trial. This allows you to try out everything and see if the program meets your needs.
If you want to keep using the program beyond the 30 day trial, you have to order the software.
The password is normally sent out within 48 hours upon receipt of your order.

Do you offer a money back guarantee?
There is no money back guarantee. Instead we offer a free 30 trial download, so you can try it and decide if the program suits your needs.
This avoids unnecessary costs and trouble.


I installed the program, but I get a runtime error when I try to use it ?
This probably means you are working on a Windows 95 or 98 computer.
You will need to install some extra update files for the program to work properly.
Go to this instruction page and perform step 3.

I have been using your program for a while, but now it asks for a password and I cannot access my data anymore.
The program is password protected and automatically locks when the 30 day trial period ends.
The password will be given to you upon receipt of your order ( see order )
You will be able to access all your stored data again as soon as the password is entered.

I just downloaded your program for the 30 day trial, but it asks for the password immediately and I have no chance to test it?
This happens if you have downloaded our software before. You can only have one 30 day trial.
In this case you can either order the program, or wait until the next version is released, which gives you a new 30 day trial.
You can also install the program on another computer and have another 30 day trial period on that machine.
